Contracts & In-store Retail Orders

The Contract Between Us
1.1 The retail services are operated, maintained, and owned by DOF TRADER LTD T/A KD AUTOTUNING & TYRES, (the "Company," "we," or "us"). The Company is registered in England under company number 13391738 with its trading address at Unit EA2, Eastern Avenue Industrial Estate, Dunstable, LU5 4JY.

1.2 Please read these conditions ("Retail Conditions") carefully, as they set out the rules for how the Company operates and supplies the goods which you may purchase in-store. By placing an order in our store, you accept and agree to be bound by these conditions, which shall govern the agreement between us. These terms and conditions are also visibly displayed in our store.

1.3 The Company reserves the right to change these Retail Conditions at any time without notice, by making such changes available in-store. It is your responsibility to familiarise yourself with the Retail Conditions regularly to ensure you are aware of any changes. Your continued use of our in-store services following any such changes will constitute your acceptance of the revised conditions.
If you do not accept these Retail Conditions, you may not place an order in-store.

Conditions
2.1 These Retail Conditions govern your use of our in-store service and all orders placed by you for goods at our store.
2.2 Nothing in these Retail Conditions shall affect your statutory rights.

In-store orders
3.1 All orders placed by you in our store will be subject to these Retail Conditions.
3.2 All in-store orders shall be deemed to be an offer by you to purchase the goods. The Company is under no obligation to accept your in-store order (whether or not the order has been acknowledged).
3.3 You shall be responsible to the Company for ensuring the accuracy of the terms of the in-store order submitted by you and for providing the Company with any necessary information relating to the goods within a sufficient time to enable the Company to perform the contract in accordance with its terms. The Company shall incur no liability as a result of any inaccurate information supplied by you.
3.4 “Special Order” and “Custom Order” orders are non-refundable.
3.5 Pre-orders partially paid must be fully paid for within 21 days from order date or before finalizing the sale or service, which ever comes first. If the transaction is not finalized/fully paid by you within 21 days, your deposit will be lost.

Order Acceptance

Any order placed by you for goods in our store is an offer by you to purchase the goods selected in your order. No contract exists between you and us for the sale of any goods until we have received your order and accepted it (which we may do at our discretion).

We will provide an order acknowledgment upon receipt of your order. This acknowledgment does not constitute acceptance of your order.

If we cannot accept your order (for example, but not limited to, because the goods are found to be unavailable), we will notify you in person, email or by telephone.

In the event that, after we accept your order, we discover that the goods ordered are unavailable, or there was a pricing error, we reserve the right not to supply the goods ordered and to offer you a refund or an alternative product.

Specifications

The Company has made every reasonable effort to ensure that information provided in-store is accurate. However, slight variations may occur from time to time. Accordingly, any typographical, clerical, or other error or omission in any information, price list, or documentation provided by the Company shall be subject to correction without liability to the Company.

For the purpose of the contract, the quantity, quality, description, and specification of the goods shall be substantially as detailed in the confirmation.

The Company reserves the right to alter the goods or any related specifications (whether such specifications have been submitted by you in the in-store order or otherwise) and designs at any time, without notice, as a result of changes in law or at the sole discretion of the Company.
Warranty Information

The Company shall be under no liability in respect of any defect in the Goods arising from your use of the Goods, incompatibility of your vehicle or any misuse or alteration of the Goods.
​
Parts failing as a result of criminal or malicious damage, fire, theft or where the parts have been repaired or tampered with by another garage or individual are excluded.
​
These guarantees do not cover any defect caused by reasonable wear, tear or corrosion, or any costs incurred through loss of use.
​
Manufacturers conditions of sale apply to all goods sold.
​
Warranties are strictly non-transferable.
​
Original receipt is required for warranty and refunds.

Engine (ECU) & Transmission (TCU) Remapping
​
We offer a lifetime warranty on the remap file/software only.
Lifetime warranty on remap file does not cover a case where it has been erased or tampered with by third-party or a software update at the main dealer or independent garages.
No warranty on engine or its components.
No warranty on transmission or its components.

Tyre Warranty
​
1 Year Manufacturer Warranty on brand new tyres supplied and fitted by us.
Our part-worn tyres are visually inspected and pressure-checked prior to fitting and come with no warranty once left the premises.

Tyre Pressure Sensors (TPMS) Warranty
​
TPMS Sensors supplied and fitted by us come with 1 year manufacturer warranty on the sensor only.
All TPMS Sensors claimed to be defective/faulty must be returned to us, then pre-approved by our team before proceeding with a manufacturer’s defect warranty claim.
Refunds will only be processed by us when the manufacturer approves a defect in the product. In the event of a manufacturer warranty defect rejection we are not responsible for any costs caused.
If we fit our TPMS Sensor onto your vehicle and the fault still persists, we may need to diagnose it further at a charge agreed with you before proceeding. In case the fault is found to be caused by your TPMS module or other malfunctioning on the vehicle, we will not be able to refund/return funds for the TPMS Sensor.

Car Parts Warranty
​
Car parts supplied and fitted by us come with manufacturer warranty period unless stated otherwise.
Manufacturer warranty period may vary for each item. For wear and tear items e.g starter motors, clutches, alternators, suspension, brake pads and discs, the warranty may be limited or not provided.
No refunds for manufacturing defects will be issued before manufacturer’s inspection of the item and approval on faulty/defective item.
All warranties exclude labour costs.
All items claimed to be defective/faulty must be pre-approved by our team before proceeding with a manufacturer’s defect warranty claim.

Tyre Puncture Repairs

No warranty on puncture repairs.

1. Tyre Installation
​
The fitting of tyres to customers' vehicles is carried out with skill and care by trained technicians. In the unlikely event of damage to the wheel, caused by our negligence or faulty equipment, we will arrange for the wheel to be repaired to its former condition.
Price and Payment
​
1. The price for the goods that you order will be the price quoted on the sales counter at the date the order is received by the company. Prices are subject to change at any time, at the sole discretion of the company.

The company shall not release or fit the goods until it has received confirmation of payment.
1.2 You may be subject to validation checks and/or third party authorizations depending on your method of payment.

Cancellations By Us

We reserve the right to cancel any sales order if for any reason:

the goods ordered by you are no longer available; or
-
the goods are withdrawn by the manufacturer or by the company or by order of any
-
governmental authority, in which event we will notify you by email and refund any payments you have made for that order or that part of the order.

We will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered if your order is cancelled for any reason.

Late Payment/Non Payment Clause

If we have to pass your debt to an external recovery company then extra fees may be incurred.
​
Parking on our premises
​

We take no responsibility for damages or theft to your vehicle and property caused by third parties whilst parked on our premises.

We must be informed and approve before you leave your vehicle with us.
